Overview
A quiz around the table where a person reads and judges — there is no answer box, ever. Each team keeps a public rack of four categories worth one to four points, and everyone answers the same slot at once before the stakes rise: all teams take their one-pointer, then their two-pointer, and so on. A reader from another team reads the question aloud and, with the answer hidden on their own screen, calls it right or wrong — spelling and synonyms are for humans to settle, not a keyboard. Before each round a tactics phase lets you rearrange your rack or hijack a category straight off a rival. Miss your question and it goes up for grabs: the first rival team to buzz can steal it. Play Teams (two to four sides) or Solo (everyone for themselves).
How it plays
- Every team has a public rack of four categories, worth 1, 2, 3 and 4 points by slot.
- One question at a time, slot by slot: all teams answer their 1-point category, then all their 2-point, and so on — the stakes rise together.
- A reader from another team reads the question aloud and judges the spoken answer right or wrong. There is no answer input — a human decides, so synonyms and spelling are settled at the table.
- Before each round, a tactics phase: swap two of your own categories, or hijack one straight off a rival's rack.
- Answer wrong and the question is up for grabs — the first eligible team to buzz can steal it for half the points.
- Highest score after the set rounds wins; a tie is a shared win.
- Pick a preset when you start: Teams (two to four sides, uneven teams welcome) or Solo (a team of one each). Either way you arrange the teams however you like in the lobby.
