Overview
The shedding game also known as President. All the cards are dealt. Lead one card or several of a rank; everyone after must lay the same number, of an equal or higher rank, or pass. 10s and Jokers clear the table, and so does laying the fourth card of a rank. First out is President, last out is the Røvhul — who hands their two best cards to the President next round and gets the President's leftovers back. Play round after round for as long as you like.
How it plays
- All cards are dealt. Low to high: 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 J Q K A 2, with two Jokers on top.
- The leader plays one or more cards of the same rank. Each player in turn plays the same number of cards of an equal or higher rank — or passes, and is out until the table clears.
- When everyone else has passed, the table clears and the last player to play leads.
- A 10 or a Joker goes on anything and clears the table — and so does laying the fourth card of a rank. Whoever cleared leads again.
- First out is President, then Vice President; last out is the Røvhul, second-last the Vice Røvhul.
- Next round the Røvhul hands their 2 best cards to the President and gets 2 of the President's choice back; the vices swap 1. The Røvhul leads.
- There's no end: play as long as you like and keep count of who's been President and Røvhul. Every rule is a table option.
